This common sight isn’t so much bplaek as it is just plain dangerous. When it comes to building construction, power lines, or even road work, Thais aren’t always stringent when enforcing safety laws. Cheap labor costs ensure a fat profit margin while “luxury items” such as safety cables, hard hats, protective eye wear, and even first aid kits are calculated to be not worth the investment.
