Don’t Do Something!

This sign isn’t so much weird as it is misplaced. The driver thought it necessary to cover up the fare information with a notice to not eat food in the taxi. Thing is, if you’re a foreigner then the warning will go unread. Likewise, being a non-Thai, so too will the published fares be ignored. Meter? What meter?

Haha. This is great. As someone who is struggling to learn to read Thai, I did learn the common word for “forbid” as you show on this sticker. Unfortunately I often don’t know what the other words are — so many times I know I am forbidden to do something, I just don’t know what that thing is!
